And it is a good thing we got these pictures when we did, because the next morning, they all got smashed down by unknown ruffians! (We did pray for them that they would be saved)

More on the snowmen!
Here is John with his snowman!
And this next one has an extra ball on the abdomen. Can you guess whose it is?
The little one here is Timothy.
Some more Christmas photos
This is NOT a juggling knife. We got a very nice knife set from David, Kelsea, John, and Rebecca.
And then "Mr. Money-bags" gave me a bag of crumpled up 2 dollar bills. (Mr. Money-bags...HaHa!)
After gift opening, all the kids wanted to play outside, so they got bundled up and went out and built snowmen in Mr. Flater's vacant lot for 2 hours! They built a snowman for everyone in the family. 13 snowmen!
Christmas Day
We searched every place we could think possible in the garage, upstairs, and down, and repeated our search 3 times! And we NEVER found the Christmas stockings! So finally, we gave up and just did what I used to do when I was a girl.
As long as we still had stockings, everyone was happy.
Here I am with a box of Fudgie Wudgie that Dad bought for me.

Look what Kelsea made!!
Yesterday we girls were excited to receive a package in the mail from Kelsea. We debated (for about 2 seconds) whether or not we should open it immediately. We decided "yes" of course, and here's what we found inside:
Mom, Esther and I love the scarves that Kelsea hand-painted and made for us. Kelsea, great job deciding which ones we would each like. They are beautiful!!
The old CEF gang got together for dinner tonight at the Nydam's house in Rogers, MN. It was so much fun to see everyone again and catch up a bit. David and Kelsea, we missed you!
It was snowing the whole time we were at Nydam's and by the time we left, it was so deep we couldn't see the road (plus our windshield was all fogged up and covered with ice). We went into the ditch first thing, right in front of the Nydam's house; but thankfully, Mrs. Nydam saw and called all the CEF guys out and they pushed us out of the ditch and onto the road. It took us a looong time to get home, but we stayed out of the ditches and made it back safely. Here's how deep the snow was by the time we made it home:
Matt came to the boys' choir concert the evening of Daniel's birthday, then came to our house and hung out for a while afterwards...
A group from church came over for our nearly-annual caroling party last Friday night. It was so fun to sing to the residents and the size of our group made caroling all the more fun, especially since church people generally enjoy singing.
Ruth & Adam and Lil' John, David and Kelsea -- we miss you ALL SO MUCH!! We hope you have a blessed Merry Christmas and Very Happy New Year. We love you all tons!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL ! !
HAPPY 12TH BIRTHDAY ! !
Today we celebrate a most special person to all of us-Daniel James Molitor! !
Daniel was born on December 15, 1997, at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. Because he had to stay in the hospital for 10 days of IV antibiotics, we were FINALLY and JOYFULLY able to bring him home on CHRISTMAS DAY! When we came in to pick him up from the newborn nursery in the a.m., they had all the babies each in a big red stocking!

All of you bigger brothers and sisters were very happy to have him home (even though the picture looks like some of you weren't).

Here is Daniel walking at 9.5 months old!

And here is a series of pictures of Daniel's first birthday from the morning to the evening. First, he took his last link off his birthday chain with the help of big sister, Rebecca.

A picture with big brother, David. There's the big stocking!

Later in the evening, Debbie Goff, who had her birthday on the same day, came over to celebrate with us. She gave Daniel a Winnie the Pooh, which he liked very much! Arielle Ehrman had spent the night before, so she was still with us.

And of course, the traditional chocolate cake was presented to Daniel!

This is Daniel at 18 months old.

And here he is on his 2nd birthday.

And his 3rd birthday.

Only 1 month later was when he had the accident of his "gash", which I think we all remember quite well!

Then 4 months later Daniel became a big brother to now one of his very best friends, Timothy!

Here is Daniel taking off the last link of his birthday chain on his 4th birthday!

That night he had a special supper served to him on the special plate. And then we went to the hospital to visit our very special friend, Debbie.

Daniel has been an immense blessing to all of us in our family. And Daniel is the one who coined "I love you tons and tons", which is a saying we all use now. It is very appropriate today to tell you, Daniel, that we DO love YOU TONS, AND TONS, AND TONS !!
Happy Birthday to our very, very special one: DANIEL!
