WHEATON COLLEGE !!
Esther, Dad and Mom finally came to the conclusion tonight! And it has been the first place choice for Esther since we visited there. We had to wait till all the financial reports were received. Wheaton College has given Esther very excellent aid for this next year. Also, we feel very good about their music program. The downside is the distance:( But all in all, I think we are all happy to come to this conclusion. And it has been earnestly prayed about for a long time! Thank you all also for your prayers!

Daniel and Timothy Choir Festival

Timothy and Daniel spent last Saturday singing many hours with children from 10 other churches (besides the Northwestern College group they are in). Then in the afternoon they presented a very nice program for the public. The public was mostly just the parents, grandparents, etc. But for Daniel and Timothy, 7 guys from church also came to watch. If you look closely at the picture, you can see both Timothy and Daniel. This was a phone picture taken by Eric Meier.

A Baby Grand Piano in Our House?!

Today Dad and I went all the way down to Northfield/Farmington to look at a piano that a family in T.E.A.C.H. advertised on an email. It is a Janssen New York baby grand. Well, we decided to buy it, as there was a list of 7 more families waiting for us to say "No" so that they could look at it (we had called first). It will need to be cleaned and tuned, and needs for sure a little repair. But we felt that at $500 it was probably worth it. We will see! We are not planning to replace our upright right now, but rather as a second piano in the school room. (Good incentive to get rid of some of the furniture and make space!) We will let you all know how this goes! An adventure for sure!

Another Summer of Baseball!
The other day, Dad got an email from a man with the White Bear Lake Baseball Association stating that he noticed that our boys weren't signed up for baseball this summer (the registration cut-off was past). When Dad replied that we were not planning to be involved this year, the man immediately responded telling him that he put Daniel and Timothy on the list with scholarships! Since we had not asked or pursued this, Dad accepted it as a provision from the Lord. So...another summer of baseball! And it should be fun! We aren't sure for Joseph yet, as he plans to be involved with CEF this summer, and he'll have to decide if it is workable.
