We Think A Lot Alike!

Dad and I secretly brought our cards for each other when we went out for supper last Saturday to celebrate our anniversary and Valentines Day. We laughed a lot when we discovered that we had gotten each other the exact same card! (The inside says...from your forever.)

18 Years ago today a very special person came into this world! Esther Lois Molitor was born on February 11, 1992, around 4a.m. at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. At that point we were still going girl, boy, girl, boy, girl.....

At 2 and a half years old, Esther became a big sister. Here she is with baby Joseph.

Shortly after this, she started "nursing" her baby dolls.

And I think we all remember her broken arm when she was 3! She broke it falling down the stairs right before bedtime.

Esther was a pretty proud big sister, always having lots of fun with her brothers.

More fun with big sisters. Right after Esther turned 12. (Feb. 2004) The girls all dressed in wedding dresses one night just to have fun. Rebecca is wearing Mom's wedding dress. Esther is wearing Rebecca's crowning dress and crown.



Summer of 2008. Esther 16 and Joseph almost 14. This was the year Joseph grew taller than Esther.

Esther still likes to have fun! This winter has been a great winter for it!

Esther's Birthday Party

Here are some pictures from Esther's Birthday Party that Rebecca threw for her at our house on Saturday. I guess I already mentioned it in emails to you all, so I won't go into any detail.

The next picture is the 1st and 2nd place winners of "winning the hearts" of the other people. You know--the game where if a person crosses their legs or ankles, etc., you can take their heart away. Bernard was REALLY on top of it and won almost all of them by the end of the night. His sister was pretty alert also. She came in second.

Esther got TWO very nice HOME-MADE aprons! One from Julie and Annie.(Julie said, "Annie provided the capital for it, and I provided the labor.")

And the other one was made by Hannah and Julia. They are both SO nice!

So as you can see...We had a very nice time! Esther will be 18 on Feb. 11th!
