This week is our Backyard Bible Club which Esther and Joseph are teaching. Yesterday (Monday, our first day) two boys prayed to ask Jesus into their hearts--one from Daniel's baseball team and one from Timothy's baseball team! The older boy is almost 13 years old, the son of the coach, and has a very tender heart. His dad sat in on the whole club! And he plans to bring his 3 kids for the whole week! And then joy upon joys, two little boys (Ryan and Michael) from our neighborhood who have been friends with Daniel and Timothy this past year prayed to receive Christ!! They were SO eager, saying they WANT to go to heaven, and what should they do!! We have really loved these two boys and have been praying for their salvation.
Paul and I prayed this morning together that God would use even us, as we feel so failing and weak, to spread the Gospel, and not two hours later I had the opportunity before the club started to share the whole Gospel to these two boys. Then at the club, they prayed to receive Christ.
I thank God that He is willing to use His people, so failing, so weak, to work powerfully through us!!
I know you all have been praying, and this is an answer to your prayers and your financial support. ... Laying up treasure in heaven, where moth and rust do not corrupt, and where thieves do not break in and steal...Praise the Lord!
