We finally made the decision NOT to go to Wheaton to spend Thanksgiving with Esther, and were resigned to a VERY quiet Thanksgiving with just the 3 boys and Shelia with us. Then...the Medford's invited us to share the day with them and the others at their house! It was the Medfords, us, Sheila, 4 young women teaching and working in Minneapolis, and a young Mexican woman and her 2 children, and her Mexican friend, who spoke only a little English. We all brought food to share, and we really had a feast! Then a nice walk outside, and pie when we returned. We finished up with some games, and finally singing some hymns. It was a wonderful and relaxing day! These were pictures I got from the Medford girls since John had my camera in CA and Mexico.
